Introducing FlexCon5: The High-Containment Variant of Our FFSim™ Feed Frame Simulator

FFSim FlexCon5We’re proud to announce the launch of FlexCon5, the latest addition to our FFSim™ feed frame simulator family—designed specifically for high-containment applications in pharmaceutical manufacturing!

The FlexCon5 adds to our growing portfolio supporting safe and reliable solids manufacturing. Increased reliance on high-potency API’s drives the need for safe handling of these solids. An ergonomic and containment-ready solution for simulating tablet press feed frames minimizes dust or residue exposure during the simulation.

We are excited for this new launch, especially as a complement to our FFSim™ that has become a standard tool among leading pharmaceutical companies investing in Quality by Design (QbD) and Process Analytical Technology (PAT) for Oral Solid Dosage (OSD).

Originally developed as a customer project in collaboration with CSP, a global leader in flexible containment systems, the FlexCon5 is now available as a cost-effective and containment-ready solution. We and CSP re-engineered the FFSim™ to integrate seamlessly with glovebags—while keeping the simulator itself outside the containment zone for optimal ergonomics, user safety, and usability.

Key Enhancements Over Standard and Compact FFSim™ Models:
