The main application and intended usage of the FFSim™ feed frame simulator is to simulate a commercial tablet press such that chemometric models from PAT spectroscopy can be developed in the FFSim™ instead of on a full-scale commercial tablet press. This leads to significant savings in material (i.e. powder/granule blend) and manufacturing/GMP equipment and personnel (i.e. commercial tablet press) usage.
