TN01 Probe requirements for FFSim 19mm probe holder AGM-GM00-640/AGM-GM00-896

Our FFSim™ feed frame simulator has multiple ports for PAT probes. These ports require probe holders to correctly connect PAT probes into the FFSim™, to maintain alignment and sealing. AGM-GM00-640/896 are suitable for many probes of outer diameter (OD) ¾”/19mm longer than 150mm. Here we specify exact probe requirements. Note we do not manufacture or supply probes.

Revised 11th August 2026 (version 02):

  • Title & date: Added “/AGM-GM00-896” to the title.
  • New section added: A whole new section, “1. AGM-GM00-640 vs AGM-GM00-896,” explaining that the two probe interfaces share the same ¾” bore but aren’t interchangeable — 640 pairs with Standard/Compact FFSim (AGM-GM00-507/654), 896 pairs with FlexCon5 (AGM-GM01-433, added today). The old sections 1 and 2 were renumbered to 2 and 3 to make room.
  • Certified probes table: Added a new row for the Sentronic “SentroPAT Compact” probe, noting the 200mm variant needs a slightly different install procedure and that 100mm/300mm variants aren’t compatible.
  • General requirements note: Extended the “valid for FFSim models” line to also cover AGM-GM00-654 and AGM-GM01-433, not just AGM-GM00-507.
  • Probe length spec: Split the single “400mm max” figure into per-model maximums — 400mm (Standard), 270mm (Compact), 310mm (FlexCon5).
  • Row deleted: The “Connections at back of probe” requirement (“must be potted or ATEX-rated”) was struck out entirely.
